Jacobs Receives Contract From the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AOUSC) to Provide A/E Services Nationwide

PASADENA, Calif., Jan 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received one of the indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts awarded by the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AOUSC) to provide architectural and engineering services nationwide in support of the federal judiciary. Jacobs provided similar support to the AOUSC since 2003 under a previous multi-award IDIQ contract.

The period of performance will be one base year, plus four one-year options.

The contract requires design and design review capabilities in architecture; mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering; security; and interior design with a sensitivity toward historic buildings. Project assignments may include the following:

  • Participating in the design and review of new construction, repair and alterations, renovations, and modernizations of federal courthouses and related facilities
  • Preparing design intent packages (up to 50% design development, but not construction documents)
  • Preparing furniture acquisition plans
  • Producing technical and training manuals
  • Cost estimating
  • Master planning and other space-related tasks
