Jacobs Receives Framework Contract From UK Procurement Agency, Buying Solutions

PASADENA, Calif., Aug. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received a framework contract from Buying Solutions to provide project management and full design skills for public sector clients in the United Kingdom. Buying Solutions, a government body in the UK, is charged with the procurement of goods and services to assist the public sector in the delivery of a wide range of construction projects, improving efficiency and reducing costs.

The framework agreement brings together project management, design and technical services to publicly funded organizations such as government departments, national health services, local education authorities, regional and local councils, and emergency services. Buying Solutions will manage the framework for four years.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Allyn Taylor stated, "We are delighted to continue our relationship with Buying Solutions with this flagship framework.
