CH2M HILL Awarded Contract Under Air Force Heavy Engineering Repair and Construction (HERC) Program

DENVER,19 April, 2006 —CH2M HILL announced today that the company has been awarded a contract from the U.S. Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence (AFCEE) as part of the Heavy Engineering Repair and Construction (HERC) Program.

CH2M HILL was one of 20 companies awarded HERC prime contracts. The prime contractors will share in $15 billion ($6 billion base amount) in project awards through the 5-year HERC contract.

The HERC contract is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) award designed to meet the long-term construction goals for the Air Force, the Department of Defense, and other federal agencies. Any task orders executed under the HERC will support construction programs in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the United States.

This is CH2M HILL's eighth consecutive contract award from AFCEE. The firm has followed AFCEE outside of North America to Europe and Asia and is now positioned to accept delivery orders for work in Iraq and other countries through the HERC contract. With more than 14 years of continuous growth in both scope and volume of work, CH2M HILL has worked for AFCEE and its customers in more than 100 military installations throughout the world.
