CH2M HILL Lockwood Greene Wins $38 Million Bush Brothers Project

KNOXVILLE, TN, 13 March, 2006 — CH2M HILL Lockwood Greene announced today it has been awarded a $38 million engineer-procure-construct project by Bush Brothers & Company.

CH2M HILL Lockwood Greene's contract is a significant part of a multi-million-dollar investment by the top producer of baked beans in the U.S.

The processing capacity of the current facility in Chestnut Hill, Tennessee, will be doubled, and will include a building addition of 40,000 square feet for a new sterilizing system. This will give Bush Brothers increased flexibility to process new and different products.

"CH2M HILL Lockwood Greene was a valued partner during our initial construction project at Chestnut Hill and we look forward to working with them again on this expansion project," said Tom Ferriter, Bush Brothers & Co. President and COO. CH2M HILL Lockwood Greene's successful 10-year history building and designing Bush Brothers facilities was instrumental in securing this new project.

According to CH2M HILL Lockwood Greene Project Manager Ron Scott, this new expansion was anticipated as part of an overall strategy and plan for Bush Brothers when CH2M HILL Lockwood Greene performed engineering, procurement, and construction of the original facility. "This expanded processing capability was figured into the original plans, and due to business needs, we will double the production capacity within the existing 200,000 sq. ft. facility as originally envisioned by Bush Brothers," Scott said.

The Chestnut Hill facility has a highly automated manufacturing process and has proved to be very effective since the plant came on line in March 2004.
