Jacobs Named Principal Design Consultant for DART Cotton Belt Rail Line

Jacobs has been selected as the principal design consultant for the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Cotton Belt Regional Rail Corridor Project. The 26-mile project extends between Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport and Shiloh Road Station in Plano and will connect to three existing DART light rail lines.

Jacobs to Acquire KeyW, Capturing Leading Position in Multi Billion Dollar Space-Intelligence Market and the High Growth C5ISR Sector

Jacobs today announced that they have entered into a definitive merger agreement pursuant to which Jacobs will acquire KeyW for $11.25 per share in cash. The transaction has an enterprise value, net of tax assets, of approximately $815 million, including an estimated $272 million of KeyW net debt. The transaction value represents an enterprise value-to-expected 2020 adjusted EBITDA multiple of approximately 10x, assuming full run-rate cost synergies of $15 million.

Jacobs Awarded Contracts from Federal Bureau of Investigation

Jacobs was selected by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to provide architectural, engineering and planning services for one base year and four option years under two multiple award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts for Region 1 and 2. The FBI awarded eight contracts in Region 1, which encompasses the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and global support, and seven in Region 2, which is Huntsville, Alabama. Jacobs was the only company to win in both regions.
