Jacobs recently participated as a conference partner of the London Infrastructure Summit 2017, an event that brought together key industry players to explore the main issues that infrastructure policy and delivery are facing in London.

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. signed a sulfur recovery technology licensor agreement with Paqell, a joint venture between Shell Global Solutions and Paques BV, for use of its THIOPAQ O&G (Oil and Gas) technology in refineries and gas treating facilities across the globe. This agreement positions Jacobs as the only gas treating and sulfur recovery licensing company to license THIOPAQ O&G to low capacity sulfur facility owners, providing a reduced capital expenditure (CAPEX) operational expenditure (OPEX) option, which eliminates the chemical waste produced by alternative technologies.

Jacobs is shortlisted in the Industry Project Award category of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) Global Awards 2017, for its work on the Sellafield First Generation Magnox Storage Pond (FGMSP) Retrievals Project for the 2017.

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has been awarded a four-year framework agreement from Dounreay Site Restoration Limited (DSRL) to provide mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation services for one of the most complex nuclear decommissioning projects in Europe. Located west of Thurso in Caithness County, Scotland, the Dounreay site is a hub of nuclear decommissioning innovation with extensive remediation activities underway to return the site to as near its original condition as possible.

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has been selected by Minsur S.A., one of the world’s largest tin producers, to perform the pre-feasibility and conceptual studies for the company’s proposed tin mine development project in Peru. Both the conceptual and pre-feasibility studies are being undertaken to extend the life of Minsur’s San Rafael tin processing facilities located near Puno, Peru.

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has been awarded several contracts to support the National Transport Authority (NTA) in Ireland as part of the NTA’s strategy to develop greater use of sustainable transportation options. The NTA has re-appointed Jacobs to provide transport modeling expertise for an additional three years to support development of an integrated transportation system. Other contracts include supporting Cork City and County Councils with the Cork Metropolitan Area Transport Strategy and providing transport planning services to assist with the re-design of the bus network within the Greater Dublin area.

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has been appointed by New South Wales Health Infrastructure as lead architect for the $270 million (AU$341 million) redevelopment of Sydney’s Concord Hospital.

The Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) held its 25th Annual Science and Technology Braintrust in Washington, D.C. last week.

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. was awarded a continuation contract for the United States Air Force Communication, Navigation, Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) software development. The software supports the fleet of Air Mobility and Air Combat Command aircraft. The contract is valued at $34.6 million over five years if all options are exercised. Work will be primarily performed at the Jacobs Software Engineering Center in Nashua, NH.

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. received an engineering, procurement, construction management and validation (EPCmV) services contract for the new Ferring Pharmaceuticals research and development (R&D) headquarters, which will be located in Copenhagen, Denmark. Jacobs was selected for this project phase following the successful completion of the conceptual study and basic engineering design.

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. today announced that its Board of Directors has approved and declared a quarterly cash dividend to shareholders. A quarterly dividend of $0.15 per share of Jacobs common stock will be paid on November 10, 2017, to shareholders of record on the close of business on October 13, 2017.
