PASADENA, Calif. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Mar. 26, 2013 -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that it has been selected by Santos, one of Australia’s largest domestic gas producers, to be a member of its panel of contractors for services to its Eastern Australia Business Unit (EABU).
Officials did not disclose the value or duration of the contract, but noted that the services are being provided from Jacobs’ Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane offices.
As a member of the panel, Jacobs is providing engineering, design and project management services to Santos for a range of brownfield, environmental and water, flow-line and greenfield projects (excluding major strategic projects) for its oil and gas assets throughout the central and east coast regions of Australia.
In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Tom Quinn stated, “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to continue our long term relationship with Santos, and to draw on our global upstream experience to deliver high value as a member of this panel.”
Jacobs has worked with Santos for more than 30 years on new project implementation, major plant upgrades and ongoing sustaining capital programs.
