Jacobs Receives Two Contracts from U.S. Marine Corps

PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today it was awarded two task order contracts under the five year, multiple-award Marine Corps Logistics Support Services (MCLOGSS) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.

The first task order, with an estimated value of $12 million over three years, is for programmatic and technical support for the Weapon System Management Center and the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Program. Jacobs’ scope of work within this task order includes engineering, technical, program management, facilities operations and management, integrated logistics, and administrative services.

The second task order, with an estimated value of $6.5 million over two years, is in support of the worldwide Consolidated Storage Program, including Individual Issue Facilities and Unit Issue Facilities; and involves the delivery of administrative, sustainment acquisition, technical, logistics, and facility and program management services.

Under MCLOGSS, Jacobs provides comprehensive support services in the areas of logistics, supply chain, and distribution management; maintenance management; and strategic prepositioning capability. Services through MCLOGSS are performed within the Continental United States at the Marine Corps Logistics Bases in Albany, Ga. and Barstow, Calif., and at Blount Island Command, Fla.; as well as at Department of Defense forward operating locations Outside the Continental United States.
