PASADENA, Calif., April 27, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it was awarded a contract from DuPont, one of the world's most innovative companies, to provide engineering, procurement and construction management services (EPCM) under a Master Services Agreement (MSA) for the company's operations in Europe, Asia and North America. Under the three-year MSA, Jacobs will execute projects at DuPont manufacturing facilities.
Officials did not disclose the total installed cost of the work.
Jacobs will provide EPCM services at various DuPont project sites in Northern Europe, Southern Europe and South Asia. Jacobs also is providing Front End Engineering and Design services at various, select DuPont project sites throughout North America.
In making the announcement, Jacobs Executive Vice President Tom Hammond stated, "We are pleased to extend our excellent working relationship with DuPont and continue providing long-term services to them.
