Jacobs Receives Program and Construction Management Services Contract From Daughters of Charity Health System

PASADENA, Calif., June 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received a contract from the Daughters of Charity Health System to provide program and construction management services for the Maryvale Duarte Education and Family Resource Center in Duarte, Calif.

Officials did not disclose the value of the contract.

This project expands education services provided by Daughters of Charity in the Los Angeles area, continuing a tradition of care that began in California in 1852. The new 56,000-square-foot building and associated underground parking structure are being procured using a managed multi-prime project delivery model with a 12-month construction schedule commencing July 15, 2008.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Warren Dean said, "We are pleased to be selected for this work and proud to continue our long relationship with Daughters of Charity, supporting their education and healthcare missions."
