Jacobs Receives Professional Engineering Services Contract From Hillsborough County, Fla.

PASADENA, Calif., May 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received a contract from the Hillsborough County Public Works Department to provide a variety of professional engineering services. Hillsborough County, with Tampa as its largest city, is one of the fastest growing counties in Florida.

Jacobs' officials estimate the potential value of the initial two-year contract at $4 million and note that there is an option for a two-year renewal, which also has a potential value of $4 million.

Services to be provided under this contract include planning, project management, general/civil engineering design, and construction management for projects such as transportation, water/wastewater, stormwater, parks and recreation facilities, environmental permitting, traffic engineering and analysis, and emergency preparedness/response support.
