Jacobs Receives Partnership Agreement from Devon County Council of the U.K. for Consultancy Services

PASADENA, Calif., Feb 15, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it was awarded a 5-year partnership agreement (extendable to 10 years) from Devon County Council of the United Kingdom for transportation and engineering consultancy services.

Jacobs will provide transport planning, structural engineering, environmental and waste services, and highways engineering. These multidisciplinary consultancy support services will assist the in-house team from project inception through final design, and in the procurement of works contracts.

Officials did not disclose the contract value.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Bob Duff stated, "We are pleased to have been appointed by Devon County Council for this contract, and we look forward to providing the County Council with a range of quality services."
