Jacobs Receives Framework Contract from National Air Traffic Services in the UK

PASADENA, Calif., Feb 24, 2009 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received a Framework Agreement from NATS (En-Route) Limited to provide multi-disciplinary services for projects at various facilities within the United Kingdom.

Officials did not disclose the contract value.

Jacobs will provide a wide range of management, consultancy and design services relating to technical design, advisory, compliance and monitoring for both new-build and modifications of existing facilities and services.

Jacobs has a long standing relationship with NATS, having been project manager and designer of the new Prestwick Centre at Prestwick in Ayrshire, Scotland, one of two UK-based main operational centres for managing trans-Atlantic and United Kingdom airspace air traffic. The Framework Agreement is a continuance of this relationship.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Allyn Taylor stated, "This contract award further strengthens our relationship with NATS and we look forward to providing them with a diverse range of quality services."
