Jacobs Receives Engineering Design Services Contract from BAA for Enhancements and Expansion of Gatwick Airport's South Terminal

PASADENA, Calif., Feb 24, 2009 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it has received a contract from BAA to provide multidisciplinary engineering and design services for an expansion and enhancement program at Gatwick Airport's South Terminal. The contract is part of a larger development program at Gatwick.

Officials did not disclose the contract value.

The South Terminal program includes a new entrance forecourt, pier refurbishment, new immigration facilities and check-in concourse area. The program will be integrated with the development of the baggage facilities, which Jacobs designed.

Construction work will begin in 2009 and will be complete in 2013.
