Jacobs Receives Contract From U.S. Special Operations Command

PASADENA, Calif., Sept. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received a contract from the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) to provide information technology service management. This award is part of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contracts (SITEC) delivery framework.

The contract value is estimated at $125 million and has a base term of two years with four one-year incentive terms for a maximum performance period of six years.

Under the contract, Jacobs is providing services for developing, documenting, structuring, implementing, coordinating and monitoring delivery of USSOCOM's IT service management processes, procedures and performance, including continuous improvement of all of USSOCOM's IT service areas. This includes support to USSOCOM in coordinating, integrating and synchronizing the services from IT service area providers. Jacobs is also expected to operate and manage an integrated, enterprise-wide service desk.

The Jacobs team supporting the ITSM contract includes four major subcontractors: Integrated Solutions Management, Inc. (ISM); Atlantic Digital, Inc. (ADI); HX5, LLC; and Technical Solutions and Maintenance, Inc. (TSM).
