Jacobs Receives Contract for U.S. Air Force's Electronic Systems Center

PASADENA, Calif., Jan 08, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received a contract to provide Engineering and Technology Acquisition Support Services (ETASS) to Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., with other work to be performed at several locations nationwide.

The 3-year contract has a maximum potential value of $480 million.

On this contract, Jacobs will provide a broad range of engineering and technical support, provisioning and logistics support, modeling and simulation, configuration and data management, architectural support, test and evaluation, security engineering and certification, and technically-related advisory and assistance for the Electronic Systems Center (ESC). ESC is a dynamic organization that has provided command and control and information systems to the Air Force for more than 40 years.

Jacobs has been providing technical support to the Air Force for more than 55 years, which includes systems engineering to Air Force acquisition and logistics centers.
