PASADENA, Calif., June 8, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that its subsidiary company received a contract from the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division's Combat Environment Simulation (CES) division. The CES organization is based in China Lake, Calif.
The five-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has an estimated value of $241 million.
Under the contract, Jacobs will provide the CES organization and its customers with subject matter experts to analyze, develop, fabricate, install, integrate and test comprehensive Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) network-centric warfare training equipment and/or software-based systems. Work is expected to be completed in May 2015.
