Jacobs Receives Contract from the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada

PASADENA, Calif., Oct 12, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it has received a contract to provide program management services for the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC). The RTC is the transit authority, transportation planning agency and regional traffic management agency for Southern Nevada.

Officials did not disclose the contract value, however did note that the contract has a duration of four years with two one-year options.

As the program management consultant (PMC), Jacobs provides technical capacity as well as coordination and oversight of professional service, design and construction contracts to support development of the RTC's capital projects.
