Jacobs Receives Contract to Perform Traffic and Revenue Consulting Services in Georgia

PASADENA, Calif., Jan. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received an on-call contract with the Georgia State Road and Tollway Authority to perform traffic and revenue consulting services. Work performed will support the agency's statewide initiatives to assess the viability of toll/user-financed facilities including the state's conversion of High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes to High Occupancy Toll (HOT) lanes in the metropolitan Atlanta area.

Officials did not disclose the contract value, but confirmed the contract is for two years with an option to extend for an additional two years.

In addition to supporting the HOV to HOT lane conversion, Jacobs also will provide traffic and revenue financing analyses and advisory services to help enhance the existing transportation network throughout the state.
