PASADENA, Calif., Aug 17, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received a framework agreement from the North East of Scotland Transport Partnership (Nestrans), Aberdeen City Council and Aberdeenshire Council to provide transportation and environmental related services for various projects until 2013. Nestrans is the transport partnership for Aberdeen City and Shire, which strives to better connect the region and increase public accessibility.
No value for the contract has been set, and it is subject to future workloads of the three commissioning bodies.
Jacobs' scope of services include multidisciplinary consultancy support to assist in the implementation of projects for the Regional Transport Partnership and Councils from initial conception through final design, as well as the procurement of works contracts and construction.
