Jacobs Receives Contract Extension From Kent County Council in the UK

PASADENA, Calif., Sept 21, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it has secured an extension from Kent County Council for their term consultancy contract until 2013.

Officials did not disclose the value of the extended contract.

The Professional & Highways Consultancy contract provides support to the Kent Highway Services division of Kent County Council and includes environmental, regeneration and waste services.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Bob Duff stated, "We are delighted to have been awarded this extension to our contract with Kent County Council.
