Jacobs Receives Contract From EDF Energy at Cottam and West Burton Power Stations

PASADENA, Calif., July 5, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that it has been awarded a five-year framework contract from EDF Energy to support its Cottam and West Burton power stations near Nottingham, United Kingdom.

Officials did not disclose the contract value.

Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is providing engineering, procurement and construction management services at the Cottam and West Burton power stations. Jacobs is also supporting EDF Energy's ongoing program of environmental compliance and asset life extension at each of its 2000 megawatt (MW) coal fired stations.
