Jacobs Receives Contract From the Air Force Materiel Command Project for Support of the Aeronautical Systems Center F-22 Division

PASADENA, Calif., Feb. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received a contract from the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) for acquisition support of its Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC) F-22 Division. The AFMC/ASC F-22 Division is based in Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB), Ohio.

Officials estimate the contract value at $4.9 million and noted that it has a duration of one year with a one-year option.

Jacobs' scope of work under the agreement includes acquisition and program support for the development, procurement and fielding of the ASC F-22 systems modifications, maintenance, upgrade and modernization, in addition to advisory and assistance services to address a variety of program areas such as F-22 support system or weapon system/subsystem/component design, concept definition, development, procurement, production, modification, operations and maintenance.
