Jacobs Receives Contract From the Air Force Cryptologic Systems Group

PASADENA, Calif., April 6, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received a contract from the Force Protection Products Division (ZI) of the Air Force Cryptologic Systems Group (CPSG) at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.

Under the contract, Jacobs will provide technical, maintenance, repair and logistics support at Lackland Air Force Base and other locations throughout the San Antonio, Texas area, as well as Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo.

Awarded under a U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Professional Engineering Services contract, this two-year contract has an estimated value of $5.4 million.

Jacobs will provide technical support for software development, modernization and sustainment, equipment troubleshooting and repair, equipment installation and life-cycle management for consolidated signals intelligence, force protection products, tactical Intel products, and technical applications.

Our services will help the Air Force ensure that critical intrusion detection and surveillance equipment is continuously available for force protection."
