Jacobs Receives Construction Engineering and Inspection Services Contract From Florida Department of Transportation

PASADENA, Calif., April 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received a contract from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Five, to provide construction engineering and inspection services for the Lake Jesup Bridge design-build project and other roadway construction projects in Brevard, Seminole, Volusia, Orange, and Osceola counties in Fla.

Officials did not disclose the contract value.

Jacobs will perform roadway and bridge construction inspection and quality control services. The Lake Jesup Bridge project includes demolition and removal of the existing bridge and construction of a new 3,700-foot-long, two-lane structure and 0.5-mile causeway. In addition to the new bridge construction, the work also includes two roadway widening and reconstruction projects on SR 15 near Sanford, Fla.
