Jacobs Receives Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority Contract

PASADENA, Calif., Aug. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received a contract with the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority to design the new Manor Expressway interchange at US 183 in Travis County, Texas. This is a design-bid-build project with a fully-directional interchange and an estimated construction cost of approximately $80 million.

Jacobs officials did not disclose the contract value.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Robert Clement stated, "The Manor Expressway will provide a new high speed non-stop route to the rapidly developing areas to the east and north of Austin, Texas. We are delighted that the Mobility Authority selected us to help complete such a critical phase of its overall transportation system."
