Jacobs Receives ACEC Engineering Excellence Award for University of Oklahoma Utility Plant

PASADENA, Calif. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- May. 14, 2013 -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that it was honored with the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Engineering Excellence Award for the University of Oklahoma (OU) Utility Plant 4 project in Norman, Okla.

Jacobs provided full-service architecture and engineering, including construction administration, on OU’s new utility plant. The $65 million project was designed to produce chilled water and a combined heat and power/cogeneration system for the campus to efficiently meet long-term energy and power needs, while reducing energy costs and carbon dioxide emissions.
