Jacobs Receives $50 Million Contract From U.S. Department of State

PASADENA, Calif., May 3, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that it received a contract to provide architectural and engineering services for the Department of State (DOS), Office of Real Property Management and Special Projects Division.

Officials estimate the total contract value at $50 million. The indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery (IDIQ) contract has a one-year base period and four one-year options.

Jacobs' scope of work includes facilities analyses; engineering/building systems; structural surveys; space plans/layouts; interior design; design of system upgrade and replacement projects; design of physical security and surveillance systems; hazardous material abatement; and relocation planning and management/oversight services.
