Jacobs Receives 3-Year Engineering Services Agreement from DuPont in India

PASADENA, Calif., Feb 05, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received a contract from E. I. DuPont India Pvt. Ltd. to provide engineering, procurement, and field support services under an Engineering Services Master Agreement.

Officials did not disclose details of the 3-year alliance contract.

Under the alliance, Jacobs will execute projects from DuPont Knowledge Center in Hyderabad, India. The projects supported by the Center will be sited in Europe, the United States, India, and other global locations.

"Our intent is to leverage Indian science and engineering talent for the benefit of DuPont customers and shareholders."

With more than 2,000 multidisciplinary personnel in five offices in India, Jacobs is one of India's largest E&C companies serving the process, petrochemical, and pharmabio industries.
