Jacobs Joint Venture Receives Contract from Transport for London

Maintaining and Improving London’s Road Networks

PASADENA, Calif. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Apr. 23, 2013 -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that its joint venture with the Eurovia Group received a contract from Transport for London (TfL) to provide maintenance and improvement services on its road network in seven boroughs in North East London, United Kingdom.

Officials did not disclose the contract value, but noted that the contract duration is for an eight year period beginning April 1, 2013.

Under the terms of the contract, the joint venture team is delivering highway construction, maintenance and design services. Jacobs’ primary role is as the lead professional planner and designer.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Bob Duff said, “We are very pleased to receive this contract for maintenance activities on some of the most heavily trafficked road networks in the UK. The award continues our long association with TfL, and we look forward to supporting them on this significant project by providing integrated, value-added planning and design services.”

The Eurovia Group, which consists of Ringway the term services division, is the provider with Jacobs on the TfL contract.
