PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced that it is seeing significant activity in the telecommunications sector. Since January 2014, Jacobs has been selected for new work with a number of major U.S. wireless carriers, tower companies, and public sector agencies representing contract values totaling over $80 million.
Jacobs’ scope of work under the terms of these contracts includes self-perform turnkey field construction work; operations and maintenance support; wireless network deployment/emergency management support for four public agencies; and expanded site acquisition and engineering support.
