Jacobs Completes Acquisition of Federal Network Systems

Enhances Capabilities in Intelligence Community Market

PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that it completed its acquisition of Federal Network Systems (FNS) headquartered in Ashburn, Va.

Company officials did not disclose the terms of the agreement.

FNS provides systems integration and communication, information technology and data security solutions for the global market; with particular focus on supporting the Intelligence Community, the Department of Defense, and federal civilian customers. Its workforce of more than 750 employees design, integrate, secure, operate and maintain highly complex mission critical voice, data, and video networks.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Robert Norfleet stated, “We are very pleased that FNS is now a part of Jacobs. We expect this acquisition to significantly enhance our capability in the growing Intelligence Community industry by augmenting our current service offerings in mission critical infrastructure design and commissioning; secure facility maintenance and operations; telecommunications and information technology solutions; and mission operations.”
