PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that it received three contracts from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to provide services for various projects statewide.
Officials did not disclose the contract values.
Under the terms of the first contract, Jacobs is providing traffic engineering and planning studies primarily in the El Paso District. Jacobs’ scope of work includes corridor analysis for subarea/corridor and land planning, feasibility and corridor studies, traffic counts, travel time analysis, travel demand modeling and simulation, traffic projections, intelligent transportation systems, regional toll analysis and toll feasibility analysis.
Under the second contract, Jacobs is providing engineering services for the preparation of plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E) and related documents for various On-System and Off-System Bridge Replacements statewide. Jacobs’ scope of work includes preparing roadway and bridge design, hydrologic and hydraulic design, traffic signal design, survey, geotechnical data collection, and construction phase services.
Under the third contract, Jacobs is providing professional land surveying services within and along state right-of-way easements in support of preliminary engineering, construction engineering and maintenance work. Projects covered under this contract are primarily located in the Austin and San Antonio Districts.
