Jacobs Awarded Contract By the U.S. Marine Corps Program Manager for Training Systems

PASADENA, Calif., March 31, 2009 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it was awarded a contract by the Marine Corps Systems Command, Program Manager for Training Systems (PM TRASYS), located in Orlando, Fla.

Officials estimate the potential value of the 3-year contract at $4.8 million.

Jacobs will provide support for acquisition and life cycle management, engineering and integration, test and evaluation, integrated logistics support, strategic planning for technology programs, and concept development and requirements analysis for training systems and training support of the entire Marine Corps.

In making the announcement, Jacobs President and CEO Craig Martin stated, "This contract provides an excellent opportunity to build upon our longstanding relationship with the Marine Corps. Our services will help to develop, enhance and sustain mission-critical training systems for the Marines."
