Jacobs Awarded Contract to Support U.S. Marine Corps Enterprise Information Technology Services Program

PASADENA, Calif., June 9, 2009 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it was awarded a one year $3 million contract, with the potential for a total of $9.9 million over three years, from the Marine Corps Systems Command Quantico, VA., to support the Program Manager (PM), Marine Corps Enterprise Information Technology Services (MCEITS). The PM MCEITS is a provider of information technology solutions for the United States Marine Corps.

Jacobs will develop and manage program strategies and acquisition plans; support systems engineering, logistics and test activities; provide business management services; and assist in systems interoperability and migration efforts.

In making the announcement, Jacobs President and CEO Craig Martin stated, "This contract provides an excellent opportunity to build upon our longstanding relationship with the Marine Corps. Our services will help to develop, enhance, and sustain mission-critical automated information systems for the Marines."
