Jacobs Awarded Contract to Support U.S. Army Program Manager Heavy Brigade Combat Team

PASADENA, Calif., Aug. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it has been awarded a contract from the U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command in Warren, Mich. to support the Program Manager (PM) Heavy Brigade Combat Team (HBCT) with production, product assurance and engineering services for all PM HBCT platform vehicles.

Officials estimate the one-year contract at $3.7 million, with the potential for a total of $11.6 million over three years.

Jacobs is providing evaluation of test and evaluation master plans, program schedules, vehicle testing support, production planning and scheduling, manufacturing process planning, system engineering plans, trade-off studies and engineering analysis, design, performance measurement, in addition to other support services required per Army regulations for proper execution of fielded PM HBCT systems.
