PASADENA, Calif., Sept 14, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it was awarded a one-year contract from the United States Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) in Warren, Mich. Per the contract, Jacobs is supporting the Program Manager Heavy Brigade Combat Team (PM HBCT) with the sustainment of all current and future fielded PM HBCT vehicle platforms.
Officials estimate the contract value at $3.4 million, with a maximum value of $10.6 million over three years.
Under the terms of the agreement, Jacobs is providing integrated logistics support, fielding support, new equipment training, total package fielding support, electronic and automation support and other logistical support services required per Army regulations for proper execution of fielded PM HBCT systems.
