PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that it was awarded a contract by Novus International, Inc. (“Novus”) to provide technology integration, front-end engineering, design, procurement, and construction services for a project to expand Novus’s manufacturing capacity for ALIMET® feed supplement, a methionine source for poultry and livestock feed. The new facility, to be located in the United States Gulf Coast region, is being designed to deliver 120 KT of ALIMET per year to meet increasing global demand for methionine.
Company officials did not disclose the anticipated cost of the project.
