PASADENA, Calif., July 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it has been awarded a design and fabrication contract by INEOS Enterprises Limited for two gas-gas heat exchangers to be installed in a sulfuric acid plant at its Runcorn, Cheshire site in the United Kingdom.
Officials did not disclose the contract value.
INEOS Enterprises selected Jacobs' proprietary Chemetics® radial flow gas-gas heat exchanger design over other available designs on the basis that it provides the most appropriate design and technical solution for INEOS Enterprises' plant. The equipment is expected to be fabricated at Jacobs' facility in Pickering, Ontario.
