Jacobs Awarded Contract Extension from DFW International Airport

PASADENA, Calif., Sept. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received approval to execute contract modifications for final design of passenger terminal "A" and continue to provide design and design management services to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

The estimated value of the contract modifications total $13.7 million resulting in $52.4 million for design and design management services through the first of three one-year option extensions.

The multiple year contract includes professional architecture and engineering services in support of DFW International Airport's $1.9 billion terminal renewal and improvement program to re-life its existing passenger terminals, construct a light rail station and rebuild its parking control system plazas. The program is scheduled for completion in 2017.
