LeighFisher Named Technical Advisor of the Year at P3 Bulletin Awards in D.C.

LeighFisher was the proud recipient of P3 Bulletin’s prestigious 2017 P3 Gold Award for “Technical Advisor of the Year” at their awards ceremony held in Washington, D.C. on September 26, 2017. The award recognizes LeighFisher as a leader in the P3 industry. LeighFisher has focused on what it believes is the potential for a ‘next generation’ of modern P3 projects and has helped develop and progress the model by educating public authorities on the potential that P3 models can offer. In its role as Technical Advisor for the International Finance Corporation (IFC) on the Norman Manley International Airport in Jamaica, LeighFisher has helped to restructure bid documentation to make the scheme more attractive to international investors. It provided the client with a plan to solicit feedback from the bidders in a structured manner, such that a re-tendered project would be bankable and attractive to investors, while still protecting the government’s interests.

The judges agreed that LeighFisher is one of the best Technical Advisors in the market, having worked on both solicited and unsolicited projects in a way that reaches closure. They welcomed LeighFisher’s role in supporting events and publishing articles designed to educate and foster P3s across the region.
