Jacobs Receives National Framework From U.K. Home Office

PASADENA, Calif., April 1, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it was awarded a national framework contract from the U.K. Home Office to provide professional services for a substantial properties fit-out and refurbishment works program involving several hundred government properties throughout the United Kingdom. The framework will also be available to other agencies connected with the Home Office and the Ministry of Justice to procure similar professional services.

Officials did not disclose the contract value.

Over the four year period of the framework, Jacobs will provide a range of over 20 professional services including project, environmental, and cost management; design services including architecture and mechanical, electrical, civil and structural engineering; and specialist services such as access, asbestos and building surveying, town planning, and construction & design management (CDM).
