Jacobs Receives Engineering Services Agreement From LANXESS

PASADENA, Calif., June 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received a contract from LANXESS Deutschland GmbH to provide engineering, procurement, and construction management services under an Engineering Services Agreement (ESA) for LANXESS' operations in Germany. As one of the leading companies in specialty chemicals, LANXESS had sales in 2007 of 6.61 billion Euros and currently has 14,620 employees in 21 countries.

Officials did not disclose contract details.

Under the ESA, Jacobs will provide its services locally at various LANXESS production sites supported by its regional office in Cologne, Germany.
