Jacobs Receives Contract from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Charleston District

PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that it was awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Charleston District.

Officials did not disclose the contract value, but noted that its duration is up to three years including option periods.

Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is providing a wide variety of architectural and engineering design services to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution program. Jacobs’ scope of work includes a range of planning, architectural, engineering, program management, and construction management support services for the network of DLA Defense Distribution Centers, at locations within and outside the continental United States.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Tom McDuffie stated, “We are delighted to continue our ongoing relationship with USACE Charleston and look forward to leveraging our experience to help the DLA design, build, and repair their facilities.”
