Jacobs Receives Contract from NASA for IDIQ Support

PASADENA, Calif., March 25, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) architect/engineering services contract from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to provide design and other professional services required to rehabilitate, modernize, or provide structural systems for Shuttle landing facilities at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla., and Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif.; and facilities at the Kennedy Space Center, Fla.

Officials did not disclose the value of this five-year contract.

In making the announcement, Jacobs President and CEO Craig Martin stated, "This contract provides an excellent opportunity to build upon our long-standing relationship with NASA. Services we provide under this contract will help to sustain, and often enhance, national assets that are critical to our country's continued access to space."
