Jacobs Receives Contract for Denver International Airport Expansion

PASADENA, Calif., July 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received a contract from the City and County of Denver, Department of Aviation to provide design services at Denver International Airport (DIA) for the new Concourse C program that also includes design of the Concourse C eastern expansion, a commuter facility, and all infrastructure surrounding the building expansion.

Jacobs' officials did not disclose the value of the contract that also provides for final design and services during construction for the infrastructure.

The Concourse C eastern expansion includes at least 10 new gates, three levels, and associated public amenities. It is the first major mainline concourse expansion since DIA's opening in 1995, and will enable expanded gate capacity to efficiently accommodate recent operational changes.
