Institutional Investor recently released its 2020 All-America Executive Team, and recognized Jacobs as one of the year’s Most Honored Companies.
Around 1,700 money managers, analysts and researchers voted to determine the best CEOs, CFOs, investor relations professionals and investor relations companies across 44 industry sectors. Close to 150 firms were then designated as Most Honored Companies, marking companies earning two or more top-three positions in either the buy-side or sell-side results.
Jacobs was named the Best Investor Relations Program both overall and on the buy-side for its respective sector. We also earned the sector’s overall top rankings for Best ESG/SRI Metrics*, Best in Corporate Governance and Best Analyst Day.
Institutional Investor’s 2020 All-America Executive Team rankings are based on attributes such as how well companies execute on strategy, accessibility of senior executives, timely and appropriate disclosures, among others.
“2019 marked a year of growth and transformation for our company, as we celebrated our 30th anniversary on the New York Stock Exchange and launched our new brand globally,” said Jacobs CFO Kevin Berryman. “The recognitions from Institutional Investor underscore the important shift our proactive portfolio transformation and strategic actions are driving to redefine what is possible for tomorrow.”
Our Investor Relations team also nabbed Institutional Investor’s top spot in its sector, and Chair and CEO Steve Demetriou, CFO Kevin Berryman and Vice President of Investor Relations Jonathan Doros topped the buy-side charts for Best CEO, Best CFO and Best IR Professional, respectively.
“At Jacobs, we engage members across our entire company when formulating our communications with the investment community,” shared Jacobs Vice President of Investor Relations Jonathan Doros. “While Institutional Investor’s categories are broken into roles and distinct categories, the support from our entire team is what makes these rankings, and our progress, possible."
“Our top ranking is a product of our successful 2019 Investor Day and added investor access to subject matter experts in areas such as space exploration, environmental resiliency, cybersecurity and water,” added Jonathan. “With support from across teams, we are able to go beyond simply disclosing quarterly financial results and truly allow our shareholders to gain insight into our long-term strategy, and these honors are a testament to that.”
