DALLAS - Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced a $25,000 donation to the American Red Cross to support Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts in the company’s home state of Texas. Jacobs employs nearly 4,000 people in the Texas Gulf Coast region of the United States. According to the Red Cross, donations will help provide relief for those affected by the storm, including emergency food, clothing, shelter, personal services and other necessities.
“Our thoughts are with our employees who were in Hurricane Harvey’s path,” Jacobs Chairman & CEO Steve Demetriou said. “As the Texas Gulf Coast region begins to recover from this catastrophic storm, we are grateful for the invaluable support and services that the Red Cross provides.”
