Jacobs Awarded Test and Evaluation Support Contract at Aberdeen Test Center

PASADENA, Calif., Jan. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received a contract from the U.S. Army to provide test and evaluation support to the Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md. Jacobs has been providing this support on the predecessor contract since 2001.

The contract, which consists of a base year and four one-year options, has a maximum potential value of $492 million.

Jacobs' workforce will consist of approximately 950 personnel. Jacobs will be supported by five subcontractor teammates: Log.Sec Corporation; Science and Technology Corporation; Erica Lane Enterprises, Inc.; Belzon, Inc.; and 3D Research Corporation.

The Jacobs team's support to ATC will include test and evaluation of a broad spectrum of military weapons systems and equipment for military and commercial customers. Services will include scientific, engineering, and technical support; environmental; laboratory analysis; multimedia support; and warehousing. ATC encompasses land and water totaling approximately 57,000 acres with an extensive inventory of test ranges and facilities.
