Data is at the core of a host of emerging technologies transforming our world for the better,” enthuses Jacobs Chief Digital and Information Officer Madhuri Andrews. “For organizations to make positive and lasting contributions to the betterment of society, they’re going to rely more and more upon technology professionals.”
Madhuri, who just got inducted into the CIO Hall of Fame from IDG, joins a select group of outstanding executives and visionaries who have had a significant impact on the IT profession.
Earlier in 2020, D CEO Magazine and Dallas Innovates recognized Madhuri with the CIO of the Year Award, recognizing the significant accomplishments she achieved while overseeing Jacobs’ digital transformation during a time of significant portfolio transformation for the company.
She’ll accept this new award from IDG at the CIO 100 Symposium & Awards Ceremony on the evening of August 19th, at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
“The CIO Hall of Fame honors the men and women whose work has advanced the CIO role and demonstrated sustained business success,” said SVP & General Manager, IDG Events and Publisher, CIO Adam Dennison. “This year, we are excited to induct 11outstanding IT executives into the CIO Hall of Fame. Each individual has made profound contributions to the tech world, impacting the business landscape through innovation and influence.”
About the CIO Hall of Fame Awards: The CIO Hall of Fame was created in 1997 to spotlight 12 outstanding IT leaders who had significantly contributed to and profoundly influenced the IT discipline, the use of technology in business and the advancement of the CIO role. Ten years later, in 2007, CIO inducted its second class of honorees into the CIO Hall of Fame during CIO magazine’s 20th anniversary celebration. CIO continues to showcase this elite group of CIOs – now totaling more than 140 – during the annual CIO Hall of Fame induction ceremony. A list of all inductees can be viewed here.
